We are pleased to announce that our student, Tatum Stam, and her horse, Saint Liam, have finished third in the 2007 American Eventing Championships (AECs) at the Junior Novice level.  The competition was held from September 13-16 at Lamplight Equestrian Center and Pratt's Wayne Forest Preserve in Wayne, IL.

Tatum is a freshman at Grayslake North High School. This is her first year competing in Eventing. It is a great accomplishment to just qualify for both the Area IV and American Eventing Championships, let alone placing third in the national championships.

Tatum rode her 14 year old Thoroughbred gelding, Saint Liam.  Liam had a former life as a show hunter before being purchased by Tipperary Farm last fall.  The Stam Family fell in love and purchased him shortly thereafter.  He and Tatum have embarked on this new discipline in 2007 and have taken it by storm!

Congratulations to Tatum & Liam! We are proud of you both!

Daily updates, as they were posted, can be found below as can a photo slideshow.
